During the year 2005-06, generation of wind power from your Company's projects has decreased by 2.08% over last year on account of the change in wind patterns. The uptime of turbines also got slightly affected due to major modification in substation carried out by the state electric utility.

Infrastructure Project :

BFUL, through its subsidiary Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises Ltd. is implementing an integrated infrastructure project (Bangalore - Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project).

The BMICP consists of the following :

• A 1 64 km tolled expressway connecting Banglore and Mysore with following road components:
• A 41 km Peripheral Road around the city of Bangalore
• A 111 km expressway between Bangalore & Mysore
• A 9 km link road connecting the Outer Ring Road with the Peripheral Road
• A 3 Km Elevated Road connecting the Link Road to the Centre of Bangalore
• 5 new township developments along the expressway between Banglore and Mysore Concomitant development at the interchanges along the Peripheral Road
• Rights to supply power, water, telecommunication services, sewage and
  waste water management etc.
